Ford Duratec F3 Starter and Flywheel Kit
If you are looking for a low crank centreline and lightweight this is the product for you.
A bespoke Duratec flywheel & starter assembly have been designed specifically to suit an F3-type installation.
The diameter of the flywheel is 210mm overall and this allows for maximum ground clearance. Designed for use in combination with an SBD matching dry sump system which has a maximum sump pan depth of 25mm. The starter motor is mounted onto the engine block using the original mounting bolts but with a clever gear design arrangement, we have been able to pick up directly onto the flywheel teeth.
The flywheel is designed to accept a 5 1/2" racing clutch.
Suitable for: Formula 3 type installation
The flywheel is designed, developed and manufactured in-house by Ark Racing Limited. It is made to the highest standards using high-grade steel, Nitride heat treatment with a Shot Peened surface treatment. Developed and manufactured to professional motorsport standards keeping strength, durability and weight (mass) in mind.

Surface Treatment: Shot Peened
Starter Ring: Cut into the flywheel (Not a separate Ring Rear)
