Ark Racing Limited can provide services from the traditional to the advanced. We utilise modern techniques and technology, combined with our range of machining capabilities, on various materials.


SODABLASTING & VIBRATORY DEBURRING

For small component finishing and deburring.

Vibratory deburring is a finishing process used to remove sharp edges and burrs from metal parts after machining. It involves placing the parts in a vibratory machine filled with abrasive media and compounds. The machine vibrates, causing the media to rub against the parts, smoothing and polishing their surfaces.

Soda blasting is a cleaning technique that uses sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) as an abrasive material to remove paint, dirt, and other contaminants from surfaces. It’s similar to sandblasting but is gentler and less damaging to the underlying material, making it suitable for use on delicate surfaces. It’s also environmentally friendly since baking soda is non-toxic and water-soluble.


LASER ETCHING

At Ark Racing we can add a touch of individuality to a component by Laser Etching the surface of the material, creating a high-contrast mark without affecting the integrity of the material with your Company Name, Corporate Logo or Part/Product ID Number.

This not only provides a statement of quality but also can provide a direct point of call to a consumer. This means that the owner of the component can get an identical replacement part from its source.


3D PRINTING

We have the facility of using an additive manufacturing process to render digital CAD files into 3D plastic prototypes, which is ideal as a first-stage design tool and a prerequisite to CNC machining of the end product.

GEAR CUTTING

We have the facility to facilitate gear cutting using our Fellows 2A and 3A GEAR SHAPERS.

GASKET PRINTING

Facility to produce Gaskets from Paper, Cork, Rubber and Certain Acrylics. To seal the junction between two surfaces in machinery or piping to prevent leakage.
(This process does not include metal variants)
