FLYWHEEL
This lightweight Classic Mini flywheel, designed, developed and manufactured in-house by Ark Racing Limited., is made to the highest standards using high-grade steel, Nitrided heat treatment with a Shot Peened surface treatment. Developed and Manufactured to professional motorsport standards keeping strength, durability and weight (mass) in mind.
With a very respectable mass of 1.95 Kg, this will transform and energise your Classic Mini into a FASTER revving performance car. *Power is no problem, this flywheel will take all you can throw at it and your limit is your wallet!!
NOTE: *It is a myth that a lightweight flywheel gives you more power. It actually doesn’t!
What it does achieve is it reduces the rotating mass and inertia in your vehicle. The result is your engine isn’t using valuable horsepower spinning up a heavy flywheel, it’s going straight and to your wheels on to the road which is where you need it, with the bonus of making your car lighter.
